St. Louis Dinner Meetings
Come join us for our monthly dinner meetings, usually held the 4th Thursday of each month at the Crown Plaza in Clayton. We kick things off with a social hour to network with fellow IT professionals and then we have dinner and a speaker presents a topic relevant to information technology.

Speaker: Dwayne Miller - MBA, PMP, LSSBB, ITIL v3 Foundation
For 24 years, Dwayne Miller worked for Anheuser Busch in the IT Department, focusing on Project Management and the infrastructure side of IT. In December, 2008, the InBev acquisition forced him into a job search... in what we all know is a severely challenging and changing economic environment. In 2009, Mr. Miller used state funding to get training for PMP, ITIL v3 Foundations, and Lean Six Sigma certifications. He earned his PMP and ITIL certifications in 2009 and earned his Black Belt certification in Lean Six Sigma in March of this year. Also during his job search in 2009, Dwayne volunteered on a number of committees on the Go! Network and Businesspersons Between Jobs organizations. He still volunteers for BBJ on the Practice Interview Committee by giving practice phone interviews and on the Networking Committee reviewing LinkedIn Profiles. He also volunteers at the St. Louis Chapter of PMI as a mentor and helps prepare those studying for their PMP. Dwayne is also a member of Toastmasters and is a mentor for the organization. Towards the end of 2009 Dwayne landed a position at CenturyLink and in April of this year he accepted a position at Savvis.
