About Our Speakers
Managing Partner - John W. Kovac
Prior to his current position with Aspire Consulting, Mr. Kovac was the Practice Manager at EPS Technology. As a Practice Manager, John was responsible for budgeting/forecasting, business development, recruiting, and the overall strength of the PeopleSoft/Oracle practice.
He spent first 5 ½ years of his professional experience as an Analyst, Consultant and then Project Manager with Accenture. Since 1997 Mr. Kovac has held various positions within the Human Resources/Compensation/Benefits and Systems Implementation fields. Mr. Kovac's professional experience has ranged from Lead Developer to HRMS Expert to PeopleSoft/Oracle Practice Manager. Mr. Kovac is a highly motivated, people-oriented professional with strong communication skills that have allowed him to effectively work with all levels of an organization.
A combination of functional expertise and technical knowledge has enabled John to participate in a wide-range of projects, including, full life-cycle implementations, system upgrades, system development, and on-site production support. John possesses an extensive knowledge of PeopleSoft HRMS versions 5, 6, 7, 7.5, 8, 8.3 and 8.8. Mr. Kovac embodies a versatile skill set that includes the ability to develop world-class modules, display project management capability and manage an entire consulting practice.
Mr. Kovac received his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of Missouri – St. Louis.
Managing Partner - Kim Riddle
Prior to her current position with Aspire Consulting, Ms. Riddle was an independent consultant for 5 years. As an independent consultant, Kim managed the Financials Implementation Project for Cequel III, managed the Financials Upgrade Project for Schnucks Markets, and managed the Financials Implementation Project for Dierbergs Markets and performed Project Assistance and Quality Assurance for The Doe Run Mining Company.
With vast experience in Accounting and Finance and a deep level of IT consulting experience, Kim possesses a broad skill set that includes project management of large teams, capability to design and implement systems to follow best business practices and ability to staff and coordinate projects from upfront system selection to production ready systems.
Before becoming an independent consultant, Ms. Riddle has held various positions within the Accounting/Finance and IT Consulting fields from international finance to the grocery industry. Ms. Riddle's professional experience has a large concentration and expertise in Peoplesoft Financials. Kim is highly knowledgeable in versions 7.0 through 8.8. A combination of functional expertise and technical knowledge has enabled Kim to participate in a wide-range of projects, including, full life-cycle implementations, system upgrades, system development, on-site production support and training of client staff.
Ms. Riddle's strengths include excellent communication, analytical and leadership skills. Kim is a highly motivated professional with attention to detail and fostering client relationships. These traits have allowed her to effectively manage large teams and create excellent client/staff relationships and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
Ms. Riddle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Northwestern State University of Louisiana. She is also a Certified Public Accountant.
