Greg Poynter, Manager of Systems Engineering (Missouri Enterprise Region), Cisco

Greg has been with Cisco Systems for six years, during which time he has supported a combination of commercial and Federal customers as a Systems Engineer. His technical background includes many Cisco certifications including the Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), as well as other industry certifications including the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP). In his current position at Cisco, Greg is the Systems Engineering Manager responsible for supporting many of the larger companies in the St. Louis and Kansas City markets.

Prior to his position at Cisco, Greg has worked in the healthcare, retail, and banking industry as an IT Professional. He has enjoyed twelve years as an IT professional and witnessed many changes during this period.

Greg has a passion for technology and will share many of the experiences Cisco has had in deploying new technologies to enable better support of their business initiatives. His presentation will include a high-level overview of Cisco's methodology to deploy Security, IP Communications, Content Networking, Wireless Access, & other technologies to supporttheir 34,000 employees spread across 100 countries.
