AITP and You!

Life is a whirlwind of activity! How can you combine AITP, a professional organization, with competing responsibilities that include career, family and individual commitments?! Mark Gilfand will discuss “AITP and You!” and when he finishes, you may be asking “How can I NOT fit AITP into my life!”
As an IT professional, you need to continually update your skills and knowledge. In this world of out-sourcing, off-shoring, down-sizing and right-sizing, you need to show your employer that YOU are willing to take the steps to stay current with the industry. You need to show your employer that YOU are a person that they want to invest in. AITP can help you.
As an employer, you need your IT staffs to have access to the new technology-related information and practices. You need your staffs to have the contacts in the industry to learn what is happening outside your company. AITP can help you.
As an IT Student, you need to have contacts that will allow you to better understand the marketplace and to secure your IT career upon graduation. AITP can help you.
As an IT vendor, you need to make your products and services known to IT professionals. AITP can help you.
AITP - the Association of Information Technology Professionals is all about opportunities in education, networking, leadership, advocacy and mentorship. AITP is all about personal growth. Whether you are an employee, an employer, student or an IT vendor, AITP can help you.
